Terms and Conditions – Car Spa Workington
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of car valeting and detailing services by Car Spa Workington (“we”, “our”, “us”) to customers (“you”, “your”). By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms.
1.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment and secure your place in our schedule.
1.2. Payment must be made via bank transfer, card payment, or any other accepted payment method.
1.3. No service will be carried out unless full payment has been received in advance.
2.1. Once a booking has been confirmed and paid for, no refunds are offered under any circumstances.
2.2. If you need to reschedule your appointment, at least 72 hours’ notice must be provided. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
3.1. All services are carried out with reasonable skill and care. However, we do not guarantee the complete removal of all stains, scratches, odours, or marks.
3.2. We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects, poor paint condition, previous repairs, or wear and tear.
3.3. Vehicles must be cleared of personal belongings before the appointment. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to items left inside the vehicle.
4.1. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service if a vehicle is deemed unsafe or hazardous, including but not limited to excessive dirt, biohazards, infestation, or sharp objects.
4.2. While every care is taken, we cannot be held liable for damage resulting from manufacturer defects, aged or brittle materials, or loose or previously damaged components.
4.3. Any known issues such as leaks, electrical faults, warning lights, or loose trim must be disclosed prior to the service.
5.1. In the event of severe weather conditions, including heavy rain, snow, or high winds, we may need to reschedule your appointment. You will be notified as soon as possible.
5.2. If delays occur due to unforeseen circumstances, we will keep you informed and arrange an alternative time where necessary.
6.1. If a vehicle is significantly dirtier than described at the time of booking, including excessive pet hair, mud, sand, or waste, an additional charge may apply or the service may be refused.
7.1. Car Spa Workington is fully insured to carry out all services. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
7.2. Any claim relating to damage caused by our negligence must be reported within 48 hours of service completion and supported by clear photographic evidence.
8.1. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, you must inform us immediately so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
8.2. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be referred to an independent mediator before further legal action is considered.
9.1. Car Spa Workington reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most up to date version will be available on request or via our website.
